What is the difference between an associate member, a full member and a professional member?
An associate membership in the NZSHPB does not entitle you to a vote, but you will receive all notices of
meetings, newsletters, access to our website and any registered sport horses you own/ride will be eligible
for programs being developed within the NZSHPB. A full member must own a registered mare or a stallion
and they have a vote at the AGM in addition to all the other benefits listed for associate members. In
addition, they will be eligible for Breeder of the Year awards. A Professional Membership is the same as a
Full Member but they have chosen to pay the additional amount to have a full page profile on the website
of their breeding/training operation.

What qualifies as an Affiliated Breed Society?
We are working on this one and approaches will be made to various breed organisations with similar goals
in producing quality sport horses. If your society is interested, please get in touch.
